  1. I think our romantic moments don't follow the typical flowers and chocolate stuff. I feel closest to him when we talk about our days/lives before bedtime. Learning about each others thoughts and feelings, in its own way, is romantic to me.

    1. I love those pre-bedtime talks, too! I think we grow closest during those times. But I do appreciate roses and chocolate, too ;)

  3. Technical difficulties...I accidentally deleted several sweet comments! I was able to recover the text of them but not the comments themselves, but here they are:

    Rachel:

Well I am hoping to get that romance back ! We have been living apart because of my husbands job and its been really difficult on us both.

    Jami Dillon:

Awesome Giveaway. In order to keep each other connected we love to have camping in nights where we rent a few movies, blow up the air mattress and put it in our living room and just camp out and be our silly selves with no internet, no cell phones just us, and the movie.

    Renee Connell:

    great give-away

    Kellie:

I write secret sweet notes and buy special surprise gifts sometimes, write poems.

  6. Oops... and to keep the romance in our marriage? We write messages in the shower for each other with Levi's bath crayons. Haha! It's a really nice thing to wake up to every day, especially being on different shifts.

    2. Cool idea! My husband recently went back to school (at 45) and I would love to leave little messages for him in the shower on his early mornings. :O)

  7. I hide notes for him in places in places like his lunch for work and his guitar case, and he hides them near my hair dryer, or in a cabinet. Also little "love texts" durning his lunch break!

    1. That's awesome! My hubby sometimes leaves a message on our home phone answering machine so I hear it when I come home before he does. :)

  8. the sad things is there really isn't any romance, we just go about our day in different places and our nights in different rooms, but I'll continue to pray that the romance returns, it's been sixteen years together and we've just become complacent I think

    1. I am so sorry to hear that! :( I will be praying for you and your husband, that God restores the romance to your marriage! You don't have to be complacent after sixteen years--the joy and romance CAN still be there. God's love, joy and peace be with you and your husband!
